The House of Representatives of the Czech Parliament ratified Croatia's European Union accession treaty on Friday, the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs said in a statement.

The treaty was approved in second reading by 151 of the 164 attending MPs. The upper chamber of the Czech Parliament, the Senate, unanimously ratified the document on April 25.

The last step in the ratification process in the Czech Republic will be the signature of President Vaclav Klaus.
