Damir Martin wins silver in men's single sculls
Croatia's Damir Martin won a silver medal in the men's single sculls event at the European Rowing Championships in Varese, Italy on Sunday.
Martin clocked in at 6:57.63, just seven hundredths of a second behind Lithuania's Mindaugas Griskonis who claimed gold with a time of 6:57.56. The bronze went to Bulgarian Georgi Bozhilov (6:57.71).
